America is Number 1!
Another Super Saturday on Fox Business Network’s Your Money, Your Questions with Dr. Dani Babb and Dr John Rutledge. Saturday’s show was another masterpiece of advice for current business owners and entrepreneurs looking for opportunities.
The show has had a great run of guests and this episode was no different. Live from Los Angeles was Kathryn Hall of Hall Vineyards http://hallwines.com/kathryn-hall. Kathryn spent the hour talking about the different facets of the wine business and the opportunities that exist for vintners. An economist by education, Hall had the best comment of the show when she said “We are the best”, when asked about the state of American business people.
John Rutledge was back in New York City and full of energy. John has a knack for encouraging callers to pursue their dreams. His advice always revolves around the idea that people just need to do it. Rut told a great story about how viewers are connecting through TheFoxDocs twitter account. Several weeks ago an accountant, who is a disabled veteran, called in to the show to ask for advice about starting his own business. Several days later, TheFoxDocs twitter account received an inquiry from another businessman who is also disabled who wanted to connect with the caller. Rutledge was able to connect the two entrepreneurs - and was proud to report they are working together.
Dani Babb, who also serves as the Dean of the College of Business at Andrew Jackson University, was in prime time mode. Babb has a “devil may care” attitude and always encourages callers to do what they love. Babb shares stories of her past and talks about how she leveraged credit card companies, banks and the SBA to get started. Babb promotes the idea that everything is negotiable and you can’t get it if you don’t ask for it. At one point during the show a caller asked about the value of business plans. Babb advised the caller not to get too hung up on creating a detailed plan, and to trust your gut. Rutledge chimed in that while business plans had some value, the most important thing to focus on was cash. If you run out of it, you're dead - if you’re the last one with cash, you win.
Once again, another solid effort from the team at Fox Business Networks. Babb and Rutledge are continuing to carve out their niche as the entrepreneurial gurus. If you have not seen this show, start watching - every Saturday, the last hour of “Your Money, Your Questions” which airs from 10 - 2 p.m Eastern Standard Time.
The ideas you will get from this show will allow you to take your business anywhere - which fits well with your Andrew Jackson University experience, because we let you Take Education Anywhere, with the best online educational experience at the lowest possible price.
